HC, do you actually know any of the people involved in management? How many times have you sat down and shared a cup of coffee with them? How often have you discussed the technology and the various strategies? How many time have you offered your opinion on various matters to them? How many times have you been told information that ... uh, shall we say ... eventually didn't prove out?
I'm sorry, but your approach and interpretation of this entire matter seems ... well, more than a little utopian.
In the instant matter, we have a scenario that can be resolved in several different ways. This could have been laid to rest and we could be concentrating on other matters if management would have just chosen to show patience and placed shareholders interests above their own greed. But, once again, they chose to take a hard headed approach that is leading to a lot of disagreement from the shareholders. Remember, this is not a family business that belongs to a few individuals. This is a publicly owned corporation and you and I are no less owners than any member of management, albeit we hold less stock.
And just for the record, there are other forums in which to address this and their ramifications far exceed anything we might say on these internet stock threads.
