Just learned from a Geoffrey Rush statement that Cecille D DeMille made bold early movies and the Pirates trilogy +1 was made in that vein.

Founding father of Paramount Pictures which founded CBS and Dreamworks, whoah big stuff.

Born in Ashfield Massachusetts while his parents were vacationing from North Carolina. Thats a story in itself. Love the route 112 North of Northampton, great area.

Episcopalean and Dutch, makes it pretty interesting as well in the family name Demille.

The Ten Commandments a famous work, which makes the screenplay for Raiders of the Lost Ark that much more interesting.
