QR codes dead before NEOM ever makes $$ ??

Say it ain't so.

I just ran across that too, zipcash.

Could QR codes already be obsolete?

Those squares that are supposed to be the wave of the future may already be a thing of the past.

Today we try to decipher that ubiquitous alphabet known as QR codes that seem to be popping up everywhere, from billboards to taxicabs... to the occasional hipster's neck tattoo. But are they the future of modern communication? Or just a "gateway drug" to something better?
