That's neither the point nor the problem here.

panther asked about legitimate, paid for shares that may be in someone's deposit box in a bank. Tucked away and forgotten because they're a true long and believer/supporter of the company.

Imagine their displeasure to find out the company they trusted and believed in just up and said "Time's up. Your shares have been cancelled on you. Have a nice day."

When something seems that unfair and wrong, I just have to question it. Legally, morally and ethically.

But if anyone can provide proof that it can be done, great. I'll stand corrected. And very disappointed.
