I partially agree with you justlovethegame, this deal may not be as good as I originally thought. After my first post, I did some more research on the stocks they've put money into and almost all of them seem to be going down. What I'm afraid of is that Southridge will immediately turn around and sell the shares to lower the share price so they can get more bang for their buck down the road. From what I'm reading in the 8K though, Southridge will have to register everytime they pick up shares with the SEC so we'll know if there's lots of downward volume if it's them selling shares. After awhile, I have no idea what benefit this has to Southridge if the company has to keep selling shares and starts to go under cause then Southridge will own a large portion of a company that has no dividends and really no possibility of going up. Seems like it would be more beneficial for them to sell shares at first then start to accumulate them at a lower price right before the company starts to become profitable (which they will probably know as part of the deal with buying the shares). If MSLP is on the verge of becoming profitable, then it makes more sense for Southridge to pick up as many shares as they can right now. The 3Q earnings might have more impact than we think.
