I agree, all in all not bad at all. I thought Production Quality was excellent and the fights were not bad at all with a few highlights to help save the day. I think some of the disappointment for some was the expectation that Penn and Ellis because of who they are, what they did as an Amateur, who they train with and where they train would then allow them to walk threw their opponents but this is the big show and they fought very capable opponents who were not to be taken lightly and so walked away with victories. Martinez easily neutralized Ellis and Cutts made was extremely competitive with Penn with far better Cario. In my opinion both Penn and Ellis need to add to their training dramatically to keep things interesting and to ensure they remain relevant but you can bet both will be far more hungry the next time out.

I personally was not surprised by either fight, myself I had picked Martinez to win and had also picked Penn but also felt it could go either way as Cutts was a very dangerous and capable opponent. I was pretty happy with the Arlovski Fight and feel people have to give Andrei some time as he is just getting back his stride as he was able to prove last night and made his point clear at the very end of the fight. Fulton again a very capable Fighter with a very solid overall record in almost 300 Professional Fights against many of the big best names in MMA. His overall Win percentage is at over 83% and walking into the fight had an overall Win percentage of over 91% in his last 34 Fights with 31 Wins and even now continues with a solid Win record 31 Wins in his last 35 Professional Fights or an 86% Win Record in these fights.

The weakest fight in my view by expectation alone was the Sylvia Fight and I don't blame his opponent Andreas Kraniotakes at all who at many points made some effort to throw some excitement into it but fell to a decision loss to Tim's style of mauling him drowning any opportunity for any real excitement.

I also thought Odoms, Heun and Cutts fought well and were very deserving of their Wins as well as thought Arlovski fought well, even if some thought he could have fought more aggressively he was in my view looking to be very technical and fought a smart fight while still looking for every and any opportunity to finish the Fight which he did in devastating fashion. Again I think he rebuilding and this will take time and thought he looked again better than the previous fight and in my opinion will continue to look better and better with each and every Fight as his confidence and technical skill continue to develop. I think Kraniotakes with the right opponent could make for an interesting and good fight.

Pro will be back and I am sure will they will look a little more closely on the match making as well the mix of fighters for excitement and personally think at this point they should leave Syliva out of the mix.

I do hope that Pro seriously considers doing another show before year end to build some momentum going into next year. All IMO.
