Dump a few million offshore shares (Chrome, Caymans) up there and buy them and more back all the way down to the high-thirties. Now he's accumulated a bunch more very cheap shares which he can use as ammo with whatever suitor for an all-out purchase (unlikely) or majority stake. Simply leak the info about the offer and the other possible suitors will try to outbid each other. Meanwhile, the SP goes up, so whether or not he sells he ends up making another killing...
