Well, taxes are a fact of life. Governments have to be supported, however, they seem to feel like it is a blank check and to keep from "overdrafting" someone gets hit pretty hard to take up the slack. Should not be the elderly who often have nothing but their SS and sometimes a small pension to make it in today's world.

Just being a realist about the tax situation. No one should have to go without the necessities and sometimes the good stuff in order to pay their taxes.
