I love this argument: Movie ticket sales have nothing to do with the movie business.

Facts are nonsense?

$209M worldwide box office and counting for PDOS' Cowboys & Aliens.

Here's anothing fact for you: Incredible Hulk grossed $260M box office, that was enough of a success for Disney to buy out Marvel for a cool $4bil. Or was Incredible Hulk a failure by your logic and the folks at Disney are stark raving mad? Even if PDOS is only bought out for about a tenth of that, think about what a $500 mil buy out would mean for the PPS.

Cowboys & Aliens is a success for PDOS. The international box office is telling a positive story and pushing C&A into the 200 millions. That's good news for PDOS which, unlike the studios, didn't spend a dime on the production but owns the merchandise and is set to profit from that merchandise and licensing agreements for years.
