Groupon is not like an eBay where everyone goes to one site and it is virtually impossible to get a competing site up and running. There is no obstacle for any company, big or small to offer deals too. Since deals are all different, there could be an infinite number of deal sites. Groupon, while big, is in effect a local thing as all their deals are for local markets. I see a lot of flaws in their model.
