If you subscribe to 3G/4G Mobile broadband service or have a Mobile Hotspot Add-on for your phone, you may have received a notification from Sprint that the data allowances for these services are changing. Data usage limits when using 3G/4G Mobile broadband devices
If you have a mobile broadband device such as a tablet, netbook, notebook, USB card, connection card or Mobile Hotspot device, effective beginning with your next bill following notification, your on-network monthly data allowance will no longer include unlimited 4G.
There are no changes to your monthly recurring charges, on-network overage rates, off-network overage rate, or off-network data allowance. For information on how much 3G and 4G data you currently use, visit sprint.com/mysprint. Find out what you can do with 3GB, 5GB or 10GB of data here.
3G/4G Mobile Broadband Plans, starting November 2011

Data usage limits when using the 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot add-on for your phone
Currently, if you use your phone's Mobile Hotspot add-on, the Mobile Hotspot data usage is combined with your phone data usage. Effective on your next bill following notification, your monthly mobile hotspot on-network data usage will be limited to 5GB of 3G or combined 3G/4G usage dependent upon device capability. Additional data use above 5GB is $.05/MB. Your monthly off-network data limit will continue to be 300MB, which is a combination of phone and Mobile Hotspot data usage.
There will be no change to your Mobile Hotspot add-on monthly recurring charge. Additionally, if your phone plan contains unlimited data, you will continue to enjoy unlimited data usage on your phone while on the Sprint network.

Usage Limitations: Prohibited Network Use rules apply.
