Cowboys & Aliens dusts the movies mentioned by box office numbers (IMDBpro):

Land of the Lost: $64.2M box office ($36M less than budget), 5.3 user rating

The Wolfman: $138M box office ($12M less than budget), 6.0 user rating

Cowboys & Aliens $209M box office and counting ($46M more than budget), 6.4 user rating

Scott Pilgrim made even less than Land of Lost at 46.8M ($12M less than budget) but it's not a good comparable since it was made for only 60M.

C&A is the only film of the four which made substantially more money than its production budget, is the only one of the four to not only break $150M but $200M with more to come from Japan and other international territories. And that's what matters here for PDOS. That's all that matters. Cowboys & Aliens is creating a huge marketplace worldwide for PDOS to sell merchandise.

It's also notable that Cowboys & Aliens, a fresh PDOS title, has done substantially better business than two known titles, Land of the Lost and Wolfman. It tells studios and networks that PDOS has a superior library of intellectual property to mine.
