dixie: I agree. It probably will survive, but not by the "demand for a cheaper phone", but on sales of stock. They advertise their phones in those PRs as $30 - $40 dollars, but I think that is extremely misleading.

For one, if they are truly selling them that cheap, they are probably making just enough to cover their expenses for each phone.

For another, that is probably the average price for each phone sold in bulk, i.e. orders of 10,000. Retail is probably 3 or 4 times that.

I doubt they are selling many, since there are so many other companies selling the IDENTICAL phones. Some financial statements would reveal more, but they haven't released any, have they? I don't think you're eyes are "doe-eyes", but they appear to be tightly closed...open them.
