Hi Lobo.

Have no faith that this will send by the time I finish writing it. iHub a pain in the bumm today. Gave up before I started.

I can understand why someone would like Malkovich. That having been said, there was this rash of quirky, dark, creepy films that became a cliche to me, like, "HEY! Let's be weird, dark and creepy! That's so unique!" Eraserhead started it (to some extent), Blue Velvet perpetuated it (GREAT MOVIE!) but the Coens (Barton Fink, Blood Simple (Awesome movie!) and the likes of Cronenberg (Existnez, Crash, Naked Lunch - all a bit too much for me but worth seeing, I suppose) picked up on the genre and more often than not failed, IMO. The premise of Malkovich was okay and the opening scene is one of the classics of my experience - the marionette dance. I was mesmerized and the movie was worth it for that alone. But overall, it tried soooooo hard to be unusual. I tire of that. Love dark movies, unless I start to feel it's dark for dark's sake, if you get my point.

Keener bugs me sometimes, too. I understand COMPLETELY! A smugness I want to slap off her face.

So, SEE HENRY FOOL - YOU WILL LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT! I know it.
