Yes it's a myth and when boards are buzzing about it, should be considered an exit sign. The FINRA 'short data' is widely misinterpreted and has resulted in the demise of many new traders. Current short interest for DUSS is now zero shares, that could be why the short squeeze is no longer the topic of the day.
