Anybody see Henry Fool? Bringing up oldies here. It popped into my head that it's not talked about and I thought it was one of those quirky, funky movies from the 90s that worked beautifully. 4.5 out of 5 pickles. Offbeat masterpiece, I think, whereas movies like Malkovich, while it had amazing scenes, like the marionette scenes, tried too hard and was rather icky and dank, like Existenz - all Eraserhead progeny. Catherine Keener irritated the living hell out of me in Malkivich. I adored her in Living in Oblivion, though. Another 90s quirky one I highly recommend. Laughed incredibly hard watching Living in Oblivion. Some scenes kill.
