1. Identa will be opening its office in the United States on August 1, 2005. The office will be located in New York and offer a wide range of services including a warehouse for storage of Identa products.
2. Reflecting the positive feedback to the penetration of its products into the institutional market in the US and around the world, Identa has recently submitted a request to the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) for certification for its products. Receipt of this certification (estimated at two months) will shorten the process of penetrating products into the various institutions in the United States.
3. Identa is pleased to announce that is already represented by about 15 US companies in U.S.A., the world's most important market. Identa has a set a target of being represented by 50 companies by the end of 2005. The vast majority of the companies are involved in homeland security. They have the knowledge and the contacts needed to market and sell the drug detection kits to legal law enforcement agencies.
4. In the UK market, Identa is now represented by 4 British companies.
