I'm with you on this one Chris. Once upon a time people just didn't go to college unless they could pay for it, and student loans were non-existent. Seems to me we manufactured a lot more things back then and the economy was roaring. During my career I worked with many college grads (including Masters) who were nothing short of worthless, but they punched their ticket. Once higher management was saturated with college grads, only those who had the ticket could advance, regardless of their skills.
