Will MNTA be approved before MYL (?), and if they are, will their patents be adequate to block others from entering the market? Based on what happened today, I would say 'yes'!
Nope, not with copaxone, at least not with the existing players. Mylan has an Indian drug that is already sold in India. Unless Mylan is doing some rejiggering of the drug, then MNTA patents won't come into play.
Still, given enoxaparin, it is doubtful to the point of incredulous that Mylan can even think they can get such a drug through the FDA as is. Mylan is not stupid, so they either will give up spending more resources on it, or they will jigger it. If they rejigger it, then yes, then the patents may come into play.
