I see ppl posting regarding RATINGS
I’m Canadian ,I live in Vancouver ,BC
Those ratings are from >> CITY TV for their VIEWING AREA which is the METRO TORONTO AREA
Huge but still only those viewers are in those numbers
Now CABLE COMPANIES across CANADA offer that channel to any viewer at a premium
Here in BC Shaw Cable offers it as a TIME-SHIFT channel so it’s included in a block of channels for $3.99 for all as a bundle
Most ppl get it
These viewers are not included in those numbers
I’m one of them J
Also, Satellite Dishes are huge in Canada
We have a lot of areas that do not get cable tv
THESE ppl are not in those numbers
Take into account that HOCKEY is huge here, it makes for a tough time slot
So all in all I’d have to say that those numbers are not great but with the obstacles ,I’d say they were a very good start!
