The wording of these announcements is quite critical and must be read carefully. The announcements are completely misleading but carefully worded to be both accurate and un-actionable.

“Our relationship with the Ex-Im Bank just quadrupled by committing to provide our sole subsidiary energy resources...."

Parse it out.

"Our (non-existant) relationship with the Ex-Im Bank just quadrupled.."

Remember your grade school arithmetic. Any number times zero is still zero. He doesn't claim an 'existing' relationship, he just says 'The' relationship has quadrupled.

If I say "My relationship with the Yankees has not changed in any way since I turned sixty, they have offered me a 30% increase in salary to continue the relationship next year", that is an absolutely true statement, even though the Yankees have never heard of me.

Realize that any ANY legitimate claim of an increased relationship would include the actual values of the increase. i.e. "Our relationship with the Ex-Im Bank just quadrupled from $20 million to $80 million."

No numbers means scam.
