I anticiapted this would happen. What did I say about peoples unrealistic expectations? People were on the knifes edge until this Virgin news broke...esp people on this board...dramtically waiting this news.
People like ****** (no need to name names now) pumped uppeoples expectations soooo much that it was expected that Virgin news = $1 pps same day!!
Forget it.
NEOM is not a one trick pony. This is base Camp One, on the way to Everest. In fact, its 1/2 way to base Camp.
I expected the hype to take us to 60c before settling back down to say high 50s...so I was a little off.
BUT, what I saw happen yesterday was GREAT NEWS, no doubt, but digested with caution, and rightly so. All we know is that VIRGIN & NEOM agreed on a settlment. We dont know what the terms of the agreement are, we dont know what monetary value this will have for NEOM, all we can do is assume NEOM was in a position of strength during the deal and as such management has delivered a good result. But we simply dont know that for sure. Am I willing to take a guess at a great outcome here on the Board? Yes. Am I willing to bet million of $$ on it just yet. No. This is the mind set of the market I'd say. The 15% increase was a fantastic result on a stock that has posted its first juicy PR for months. Remember we went as high as 29%, whcih is what the news deserved. A GREAT result.
The Virgin news is forming the foundation for a strong, dynamic future for the company, with real patents, real license agreements, real ballbuster moves in pps in the future.
But lets not get ahead of ourselves.
Ignore all those posts I read after the news came out about $1 pps, $2 pps, etc. I even read with amazement our friend ****** predict $5 in 2 months. PLEEEEASE !!
This is stuff disappointments are made of. ******'s big secret, whcih was in the end no big secret at all (we just didnt know the exact day) was more unecessary hype that produced nothing more than dissention and division in the Board. As for the $5pps prediction ... it may happen, but I can tell you one thing.... I will be doing the merry dance if we get to $2 by Xmas. WOW. 12c to $2 in one year!!! What a brilliant stock!!! AND, with much much more to come in the years ahead. As TS says, life changing wealth.
For now though, lets keep it real. Lets ignore the hype, the hooharr, and lets savour and appreciate every little bit of news, and every gain in the pps. As long as we are moving in the right drection, who cares how fast we get there.
