Or possibly the government hasn't figured out how to tax the hell out of it like they do tobacco and alchohol. They know how unhealthy those two substances can be, yet they are still legal (and heavily taxed) even though marijuana does not seem to posses those problems. Some sellers of MMJ, here in New Jersey for example, operate under the limitation that they must be "not for profit". Once the Feds figure out a way to grab their piece of the pie, things may change. Mr. Friedman was wise in responding to the challenges of this sector by "switching to plan B" until the outlook becomes more favorable.
