Attention Please! Please take the time to read the very few and very simple rules we have here on the Simply Politics board. These rules are clearly stated in the ibox and can be found within the Sticky Notes at the top of the page. Of course the normal rules apply as well; you'll find that we are a bit more tolerant when it comes to language, but we believe there is no excuse for Personal Attacks.

We are glad you are all here, and we thank you for your input. However, we do have to enforce the rules strictly; if we don't the big time offenders will have a hey day and create a huge mess. We hope you understand and can appreciate this.

Here is a clarification on one of the rules that some have trouble with:

We have a No Caps in the headline rule, the opening line; in other words, the first 27-characters of the post. This DOES NOT include acronyms, internet short hand or abbreviations such as:

LOL, BRB, HARR, ROTHFMBFAO, TIA...

OR

FED, IRS, POTUS, NYT...
