October 17, 2011 04:16 PM Eastern Daylight Time

NEW YORK--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--On October 24, 2011 the China Council for International Investment Promotion (CCIIP) will join with the New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA) to explore the negative perceptions of Chinese companies listed in the United States stock exchanges.

“2011 Chinese Companies Listed on US Market Development Forum”
Amy Geffen, President & CEO, NYSSA noted, the "2011 Chinese Companies Listed on US Market Development Forum" will be an unprecedented gathering bringing together recognizable US-listed Chinese companies such as China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (NYSE:SNP), Gengshu Miao from CCIIP, Karen Sterling from New York Society of Security Analysts, Ryan Hollowell from U.S. Department of Commerce and Robert McCooey from NASDAQ. Their goal is to implement a plan to re-establish a positive image of Chinese companies with US investors.

The main focus will be on the current situation of Chinese companies that have been listed or will list on NASDAQ or NYSE. US investors and regulators have expressed concerns about some Chinese companies that have gone public in the US exchanges through reverse mergers. What are the difficulties they encountering in the US capital market? What needs to be improved? What kind of development opportunities does the crisis bring to Chinese companies?

The forum will be held on October 24, 2011, at the Harvard Club of New York City, 35 West 44th Street, For more information or to register: www.precursormgt.com/forum
