Rosenberg negotiated an extremely favorable merchandising deal in which PDOS holds the rights to Cowboys & Aliens, not the studios. Very rare, virtually unheard of in the entertainment industry. Rosenberg flipped the norm. That's the guy I want. Merchandise revenue potential is huge off Cowboys & Aliens $200 mil plus box office. I also want the creative visionary who spun off Men In Black into a $1 bil plus box office franchise. That's Rosenberg. That's what matters to me. Shepherding creative comic book sourced franchises into feature films that gross huge dollars. Give me that guy, the guy who's already done it, and who's cut a great deal on merchandising rights.
