Hi All, new to Neonode (and OTC) but like where they are headed as a IR touch interface. ANY touch interface is going to be very common and so needs to be inexpensive which IR is, versus the high cost of capacitive. The Neonode IR would be perfect for restaurant menus and advertising boards.

As far as the Amazon 'Fire', I was very interested if they were using Neon but likely not (currently) given the information below. Maybe the technology user interface will not be great (few really like the resistive) and they switch. I have ordered a Fire to test (due Nov) and check out this possibility, then take it apart to validate it is resistive versus some other technology i.e. IR.

I have no idea the technicial details of the "interpolating force-sensitive resistance" so need to do some more homework.
