Hector is more of a chess player, whereas Jerry was more of a likeable gun-slinger !

No.. this is obviously a calculated move..
- to get AMD committed OEMs to speak out for the "rest"
- to get free PR ( customers will now ask themselves "Am I being duped by intel ?" )
- manufacturing volume is now probably enough to supply any OEMs that might have "delivery problems"

BTW.. on Spansion :
If AMD can also get evidence during the trial that Intel used "other products"(flash) to kill-off their competitor in "another" (CPG) segment - then this is also against FTC rules !


Free PR worldwide to AMD's advantage IMO !
