If you recall, Strikeforce also signed a similar TV deal with HDNet back in 2008, just before signing their monumental TV deal with Showtime and CBS just a few months later. The deal proved to be key to Strikeforce’s growth, as it catapulted them to the #2 MMA promotion in the U.S.

this could happen to pro come FEB....now I would say it is up to SF/UFC to either dump money and fighters back into SF or close it down or bow down to Showtime an get it until 2013 unless they will work with bellator...interesting moves
