Document Delivery Update: I've been working over the last week to wrap up the copying and shipping of the company documents and property. I am happy to report that baring no unforseen circumstances, the documents will be picked up in Fresno at 10:00 am this Tuesday morning (today) and delivered to LA where Kyle will become the new custodian of the documents. A chain of custody will be completed for this journey and will be available upon request.

I also have confirmed that both Dave Williams and Kyle Pierce have received the DVDs of the scanned files and have already used them to locate documents that were important to both of them. Having the documents electronically indexed and searchable was definately the way to go.

The total cost of the document transport came out to $1,500. I received a competing estimate from Allied for $2,100. Although it may have been cheaper to go with a freight carrier or a company like UPS or FedEx, it would have taken more work and certainly more time. The document copying fund had enough money left in it to cover the shipping costs. I will crunch the numbers to see what's left and report once everything has been delivered.
