In response to our question about the anticipated timing of a final decision, we were told that it is likely that we will know in early October. The reason for the GSA’s suggested October timing was to save us from having to deal with the burden of formal year-end reporting under the contract in September (the end of the fiscal year). In other words, it would be more efficient for the contract to begin in October.
So because Oct 1st 2011 already passed...and it being a new FY...and after all the setbacks to come....we should anticipate a order from GSA in FY13...1 year from now (If they are even still interested then)
Let me put it to you guys this way. If the government was in dire need of a particular product or equipment...they would go through hoops to speed up the process to get it out to the fleet...or government employees...Being that Eric has been hitting at this for 5+ years straight should tell you something...The Fleet can manage without our product...and they are...and they will...
