can someone please explain what is going on?
I received a letter from Scottrade on yesterday OCTOBER 12 about my SOMA stock (Ha). Included was a proxy notice because they wanted to change the name from SOMA PETROLEUM LIMITED to Firegold Company Ltd. and to consolidate the common shares on a one-for-one hundred thousand basis.

Evidently this is a done deal? the meeting was actually held on OCTOBER 7?

OK - so what does all of this mean? Why send me this AFTER THE MEETING was held? Not that I would even attempt to attend.

Is the stock even more worthless than it has been? I think Scottrade shows that my shares of 2000 are worth US$20.00
