On the other hand, no one utilizing old furnance technology will be able to compete with a solar cell cost price point lowered by 60% if this technology works. In addition, I am not aware of any high heat furnace technology that allows black solar production.

They will haul the old furnace to a scrap yard in a heartbeat.
