"It has been roughly 8 weeks since the company filed for authorization to fly into Cuba. We have requested an update, but have not heard from the government concerning our request. We know that the department where these requests are handled is small and that it can take some time for them to respond. We do expect to hear from them soon, but I do not have a timeframe today. Rest assured that we will inform our shareholders as soon as we have word.
The company did receive a response from the Department of Transportation ("DOT") concerning the company's commuter authority application. The company feels the questions from the DOT are minor and is in the process of sending its response to the DOT. They feel the process is moving as expected and are encouraged by the DOT response."
