Tamtam, all I know about that is that the bottom of the wedge hole is 50m away from the main bore. The angle of all wedges are determined according to the depth at which the wedge starts and where they want it to end(50m away from other wedges and main holes). The idea is to maintain that 50m spacing for tracing out and calculating the resource. I think that as they drill, they add the knowledge gained from each hole to a geo data base and then calculate where the vein is going(up,down or sideways) in order to determine the next set of holes.
