Huh? None of this has anything whatsoever to do with Penson. What it does have to do with is the 247 million shares that were issued to somebody, and became freetrading quite suddenly.

Those--or some of them--are the shares that were sold off in the course of the promotion. That was the purpose of the promo: to create the interest and volume necessary for a giant dump.
