Cannabis Science, Inc. (OTCBB: CBIS), a pioneering US biotech company developing pharmaceutical cannabis products, is pleased to announce manufacturing is underway for its upcoming release of the first Cannabis Science brand of products. The Company expects to receive the first sample for market release testing in a few days. The Company will then announce the formal release of the products through its designated suppliers.
The initial Cannabis extract-based products will be made available to licensed medical marijuana patients in Colorado. The Company will then expand across the United Stated in each legal State with special appointed legal distributors in each State.
The first products will address the needs of patients choosing to use concentrated cannabis extracts to treat their ailments. For example, Cannabis Science has frequently been contacted by cancer patients seeking extract-based formulations for topical or internal use. Cannabis Science is responding to these patient requests for quality products. In the very near future, Cannabis Science will announce details of availability.
In light of the accumulating anecdotal reports of the successful cancer treatments with cannabis extracts, the Company will continue to keep patients updated on current peer-reviewed scientific literature supporting the historical and modern use of cannabis to treat "tumors”.
