Really sad. Such a shame that arguably the brightest businessman/technologist in the history of the world has passed away at such a young age.

Very sad indeed, however, I would argue he's no where near the brightest businessman in the history of the world. Not even close. He definitely accomplished some revolutionary technological things however the vast majority of his latest successes weren't revolutionary or visionary (iPod - MP3 players were around well before the iPod was ever introduced, iPad - first tablet computer came out in 2001 nearly a decade before the iPad, etc.). The recent successes of Apple are largely great marketing feats similar to Nike back in its hay day versus developing new revolutionary products, IMHO.
