It doesn't take much for the wolves to find a weakness, perceived or not. It's not about being dead wrong or right, it's about perception. That last press release created unnecessary perception just as a climb back up was about to begin.
The question is: who does it look like a "guilty until proven innocent" pink to? Not the current investors, obviously. They've done their DD such as you have (or jumped on the bandwagon, blindly following!). But to the general market not involved. Looking inside from the outside, they're the ones that go: "Oh ho! There's a typical stinky pinky maneuver going on!" and base their opinion on past experiences often dealt with when playing in pinksheet stocks. This type of assessment drives away new investors and causes jittery ones to bail.
Even though you are likely correct in your assessment, it's all about perception at this point until this company has truly proven themselves to play with the big boys and moves up in the world.
I get your point though, but it's not current investors driving this (except when they're dumping).
