muckdog one more thing, your money isn't lost, it went someplace! LOL Seriously though money doesn't go poof! Just like in a magic show it's still somewhere, it's just out of your reach. Things don't usually happen fast, usually there is just a little drop, then back up a little, then back down and likely a little lower then before. You're left hoping you'll get back to break-even. Whoops! down a little lower! You can't sell now, "You don't want to lose 200 bucks! Tomorrow maybe you're lower or maybe you're back at break-even thinking, "Oh well that wasn't so bad, it's gonna run now for sure!" Next day you're down $450. "I can't sell now! No way I'm taking a $450. loss! By the time you do take the loss it could possible be a $1000. loss then it bounces to where your loss would have only been $500. and you're telling yourself. "SEE! I knew I shouldn't have sold! Protect your capital first and foremost and you won't find yourself in such situations. IMO Good Luck!
