Repost - Here's yet another example of the financial impact potential of appearing on a reality tv show. Paris Hilton became a household name in 2003, when she began appearing on the reality show, “The Simple Life”, with Nicole Richie. It's been reported that Paris has an estimated net worth of $45 million dollars. Although she may have eventually reached that level of success without the weekly exposure originally provided by that reality tv show, the show definitely helped to accelerate that success. As a big fan of reality tv, I really enjoyed watching her and Nicole Richie get into a different awkward situation every week.
As a number of others have mentioned on this board, we simply need Dussault Inc. to be picked up by and aired on a US tv network, where the viewing audience is exponentially greater than that of Canada and New Zealand. With Paperny's newly announced New York office, Jason Dussault's celebrity connections, and the insatiable desire for reality tv in the US, I would expect few hurdles for the show to be picked up here. Should that be officially announced, I would expect a very positive reaction from the investing public.
I've reposted this since I originally posted in when only the owls could read it. Go DUSS. GLTA
