Through the efforts of MSMY board member U.S. Ambassador Lewis Lucke, who most recently served as U.S. Response Coordinator for the Haiti earthquake, the company has received over $22 million in JV requests to work on permanent housing projects in Haiti.

Amassador Lucke, met with President Michel Martelly of Haiti along with his Advisory Council to review and outline Haiti’s plan to rebuild.

“Our trip to Haiti this month will be undertaken to survey the potential site where our factory may be built as well as survey the private property sites where multi-use developments will be master planned. We welcome the opportunity to be part of the reconstruction team of firms that will be building new community-based, affordable, and durable permanent housing and commercial buildings that will establish critically needed new communities and providing renewed hope for Haitians” stated CEO Tim Algier.
