looks like someone is desperate to conduct damage control...but dont worry beause the zf worked fine...lol

and thats exactly what i said when people asked why sial would let kblb use their zf...because kblb paid and even if kblb failed they could still say that it wasnt due to the zf...that the zf worked fine.....which is exactly what is happening right now to some other company...

and i believe it has happened before as well...but once again our trusty psuedo scientist assured everyone it meant nothing at all...

im begining to think it actually does mean something...and i have a feeling you will all be wondering what the delay is in announcing the pure spider silk everyone is waiting for...

but rest assured, it wont be because of zf...(lol)..

does anyone really think that the zf process is really that magical?..that gene manipulation could really be that easy?..that nature could be that easily defeated?...

well i had my doubts...and now i have even more doubts...but, we shall see...

and as far as trying to compare kblb and aapl, (lol) well you can just fuhgetaboutit..aapl can barely protect itself....i believe i was asked if what i said meant that no start up should try to come out with cutting edge technology...

well what i said was that other companies, china specifically, would steal whatever they could from anyone who had anything to steal...many startups foolishly believe that having a patent protects them...it doesnt.....having a patent and millions of dollars to defend them in court protects you against US companies...but not against many others..

and there is no place better and easier to obtain necessary info other than a university....i am sure some here will want to post asurances that wyoming university is as tight as pfizer labs...lol

it would take a few hundred thousand dollars and about an hour for china to get all the info it needs from wu...and just how much do you think they would fear kblb?..given that they dont give aapl even a second thought?..

should no start up do high tech?..of course not...they should just not do it foolishly..not try to do it alone..with a one man operation..using money obtained by shylocks and try to do it as cheaply as possible..relying on universities who use underpaid or non paid students as cheap labor...

and even that just might be ok...but for a tech that is revolutionary?..that is a holy grail?..that could undermine a huge industry in some countries?...and you are going to do the research in labs that are can leak information like a sieve...and think that holding up a piece of paper (patent) is all the protection you need?...

the problem with tiny companies that are run on a shoestring as a one man operation is that they simply cannot think big enough...they focus on the product because thats all they have time for...and they invariably want to do it all..they dont want to share...they want to invent it, produce it, manufacture it and sell it...

in other words..they get greedy...and you will lose every single time when you get greedy..

no, theres a right way for a startup to get high tech done right...unfortunately kblb is a perfect example of the wrong way..
