Yep, that's what I thought, and you're right, "that's just basic accounting". It was late and my eyelids wouldn't stay open long enough to spell it out last night. LOL

I also agree that it's a great move (in any amount and for whatever reason), regardless of whether it seems trivial in small quantities. :)

O/S will be reduced (because the stock is no longer 'outstanding', the company now has them). The A/S will stay the same, unless voted to be raised or lowered by the company.
That's just basic accounting.
It is a great move by the company!
