I have my fingers crossed that the soil conditions will be favorable. I left with a few pluses on the dry stack area. It's right on the road just up from the mill on the valley floor. Easy access. The mines I saw were always on the hillsides - everything is a hillside in that area and flat spots are few and far between. It's flat for the most part, the video I took of the area pretty much shows it how it is - a flat area of light colored tailing material. I kind of kicked myself when I found the place - I'd driven by probably a half dozen times on my two trips to Silverton.

Best case would be to use it with no improvements, just start piling the tailings. The material they are going to pile there won't look much different than what is there currently. I heard that there weren't any surprises when they were drilling. Have to wait and see - it's what's under the ground that counts.
