AT - please don't assume aprons and lead shields were required. I was using the lead apron/ER as an example. There are many materials that can be used for shielding - including a basic wall of drywall and 2x4s. Shielding is not required if distance does the trick. If the documentation shows that that the dose at 6 feet was background then they wouldn't need shielding.
