Explosive. Some have a vested interest for this not to blow up andhave caused PR's not to show on some sites. Shorts will burn here. Buy and Hold for Mega Long Term Gains.
Potential and Overview:
A chef at a four-star restaurant wants to order day-boat Alaskan Black Cod. They want it fresh and they want it fast. Here's how it works- the chef or restaurant manager contacts a local vendor, or a trusty fisherman that can provide the goods. The time between the initial order being placed, the fish caught, transported and served, the Alaskan Black Cod can be as much as a week old. Chefs make-do because they had to, and patrons make do because they don't know any better. What Innovative Food Holdings, Inc. has done through its wholly owned
subsidiary Food Innovations, Inc. is cut the distribution time to
nearly one-seventh of the current standard of perishable delivery. The company has also dramatically reduced the number of hands that touch the product, and has the ability to deliver some of the highest quality perishable items to dining establishments within 24 to 48 hours of the initial order being placed.
We eliminate middle distribution," said the company's CEO Chef Joe DiMaggio, Jr. "We have a unique three-point triangulation model that delivers quality, chef-driven perishables direct from the boat or farm to the customers within 24 to 48 hours." The three-pronged approach for the delivery of top-notch perishables reduces distribution time, dramatically extends shelf life, and provides an invaluable service to dining establishments across the country. According to DiMaggio, the company will see a significant "ramp up of growth within the next 60 to 90 days. We're looking to hit milestones where we're growing 2000 percent every quarter."
Reasons To Consider This Stock:
1.No Real Competition: The company's current product offering
represents an almost unchallenged $108 million annual revenue
opportunity within five years. Even the most high-end restaurants rely on scattered, local merchants for fresh perishables. At the most, local merchants have access to 15 percent of the perishables available to IVFH. "There is no competition for Food Innovations," DiMaggio said. "With us, (chefs/restaurant managers) have to make one call, and they can have over 500 farms and over 1800 sources of origin specific species of fish."
2.Sizable Growth Projections: Management has projected significant sequential quarterly growth, and DiMaggio said the company plans to train anywhere from 75 to 300 new salespeople per-month. "The market share is huge in this industry in the U.S. We're looking for at least a 5 percent to 7 percent share in any city we go into in the U.S."
3.End-to-End Solution: Rather than dealing with several middle-men to have their perishables delivered, chefs and restaurateurs can have the most exclusive, origin specific perishables delivered to them with just one phone call. "We eliminate all of that middle distribution," DiMaggio said. "We're taking (fish) 24 hours off the boat, and we get
the top 1 percent of that catch. The fish then goes into a Fed Ex box, and the next day it's right in the restaurant."
4.Sound Management: "This is a chef-to-chef driven company,"
DiMaggio said. From European Master Chef DiMaggio, himself, who had taken Freshnex.com from a $16k per-month company to $1.4 million per-month with only 90 active accounts, to the company's COO, Chef Z. Zackary Ziakas, who has been a chef for 12 years, and worked for Fed Ex for 14 years, the company's top-brass are all schooled in culinary arts, logistics and finances. "Every single service person we have is a certified chef," DiMaggio said. "I consider everyone in our company top-brass when it comes to our management team."
5.Piggy-Back Profitability: By partnering with major broad liners such as US Foodservice( http://www.usfoodservice.com ), which recently selected IVFH as a subcontractor to handle over 3,000 perishable products, IVFH benefits by utilizing their partners' sales force, and has the ability to tap into their partners' client base, ensuring exponential growth from each individual partner that the company aligns themselves with.
6.Chef-Driven Company: The high-end restaurant and food services
industry is as close-knit a community as there could be. Chefs from competing restaurants, and other dining establishments have an unsaid relationship with each other. The underlying commonality between them is good food. Word of mouth goes a long way. And with the influential connections in the food industry that the upper-management team at IVFH has, a general consensus among top-notch chefs that IVFH offers the best possible solution is imminent
Conclusion:
Food is big business. There aren't too many publicly traded players out there who cater to the niche that IVFH has developed its business model around. The company's management team has decades of experience both in
and out of the kitchen, and the company has notable relationships with US Foodservice, FedEx, Airborne Express, Pilot Airfreight, several major airlines and a wide network of distributors. The company's sales and gross margin projections are worth noting, as is its projected exponential quarter-over-quarter growth. Competition for the company is scant, and management is committed to growing the company to become the standard for the delivery of truly "fresh" food to restaurants and dining establishments throughout the country.
