LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, Sep 20, 2011 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- GolfGear International, Inc. (GEAR, Trade ) announces that its Board of Directors has approved a change in the Company's business model to include gold and silver mining, joint participation in gold and silver mining ventures, providing financing for gold and silver mining projects, as well as processing and refining precious metals. The Company is currently involved in negotiations to enter into one or more joint venture agreements to mine gold and silver. The Company also plans to secure a licensing agreement to extract, smelt, and refine precious metals. GolfGear International, Inc. anticipates pursuing its mining-related business operations under a wholly owned subsidiary, Gear International, Inc. Further announcements will be forthcoming.
