price action looks good today/.......U.S. Ethanol Production Slips, but Sets Monthly Record for Exports

SUGAR LAND--September 26, 2011--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--U.S. ethanol production dropped 8,000 barrels per day during the week ending September 16. The drop is attributed to fall maintenance shutdowns at the country's 209 ethanol production facilities. Approximately 17 plants took three- to five-day maintenance shutdown in the third quarter of 2011. In addition, the demand for gasoline, generally blended with ethanol, was down 1.7% from year-ago levels.
