WHY DIDN'T HE CASH OUT AT $1.95, THEN?

Any scammer would be smart enough to get out of the scam while it's hot, so why didn't Dean sell tens of millions of shares when it was almost $2 a share? Why would he ride them back to under a dime, so that he could keep the company car for the next couple of years? Tens of millions of dollars of SP value were not sold...why do you think that is?
